Adorable Blog Alert!!

Thanks to my MOM, I now bring to you the most adorable blog EVER.....

New Dress A Day

Inspired by Julie Powell's cooking blog, this VERY chic young lady decided to start her own project (sans cooking). She quit traditional shopping and went straight to the thrift shop. A new dress a day and this girl's got an incredibly fabulous new hand-made wardrobe. I'm so jealous-- I wish I knew how to sew!

365 days.
365 items of clothing.
365 dollars.

SO FLIPIN' SWEET!!!!

Pink tiles, be gone.

I am quite certain that if this was my bathroom I would be the happiest girl in the world.

Or this one. This one would make me insanely happy too.

This one isn't too shabby either, if I do say so myself.

And good golly how could this NOT make one cheerful?

Thanks House Beautiful, for shaping my dreams. You kind of have to dream if you've lived with a closet-sized bubble gum pink tiled bathroom for the past six years. And that's not just one bathroom, it's been three. Three pink tiled bathrooms in six years. I kid you not.

Good thing pink is my friend.

Strawberry Poppy Seed Salad

I was feeling lazy tonight for dinner and so I stopped by Panera to take-out a salad to bring home. I decided on the Strawberry Poppy Seed, seeing how it's summer and all, and it was the perfect dinner for a warm June night.

The salad not only has strawberries, but blueberries, mandarin oranges, and pineapple too. Plus walnuts and feta (if you ask) and a really tasty poppy seed dressing. It's great choice if you're ever near a Panera Bread-- take my word for it!

Boots, I love you.

So I absolutely understand that it is summer and that it is 85 degrees and the end of June. I get it, I get it.

But still, I cannot stop thinking about these boots.

Trouble is, I don't even know if they still exist. Madewell sold them last fall and winter, and I even have a faint memory of them being in the store last spring. I haven't had the chance to stop by lately and do not know if they are still purchasable. The website does not have them, but could the store? Does anyone know?! Can anyone out there tell me? Please, give info. Help a sister out. For some strange reason (or maybe not so much, given my history) I feel like these need to be my boots. Why? Good question. Am I nuts? Absolutely. At any rate, these gorgeous boots are stuck in my head and I can't get them out and I love them.

I love them.

Boots, I love you. Please be mine.

Izze Sparkling Juice

I love Izze sparkling juice. Do you know it? It's so yummy and all natural. It's flavor is different from soda, and better in my humble opinion. Although don't get me wrong, I do love a good carbonated fountain soda every now and again. Coke, please. Or Dr. Pepper, thanks. BUT if you're ever in a place that sells Izze Sparkling juice- go for it! They have the most delicious flavors including grapefruit, pomegranate, clementine, and blackberry, apple, lime, blueberry, and peach. So many to choose from!

I enjoyed a blackberry juice today and was immensely satisfied.
So flavorful and has that extra added fizz for a wonderful thirst quenching experience. HIGHLY recommended. Just wonderful.

My little Boos.

Yesterday was my last day with these precious Boos of mine.
Wyatt Boo. And Asa Boo. My loves. My true loves.

I've spent the last 10 months with these cuties and I'll really miss seeing them everyday. They are perfectly precious and as sweet as can be.

Next week my reading specialist internship starts up, so all my week days will be devoted to teaching reading and building up my hours for my reading license. I'm excited to start the next phase of my life, but it's super hard to leave little ones that are as amazing as these two are. I love you boys! Stay sweet and I will see you soon...oh so very soon.

Much love always to the little Boos that stole my heart.

SUMMER.

So this past week marked the official start of summer. I have been ready for this since September 21, the official start of fall. Summer is by far my favorite season. Hot weather, sunshine, flip flops, strawberries, beach time, summer parties, and summer beer. Give me summer and give me happiness. Hooray!

A weekend with the Delta Chi guys...

I'm back!! Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to writing. We had a crazy college reminiscent weekend at Nick and Cait's wedding back at HWS and it was AWESOME. I honestly think it took me until this morning to fully recover. I had that much fun. But I'm back to normal now and it feels so good.

The Groom was one of Zan's fraternity brothers, so all of his pledge class came back for the event. I wasn't friends with most of these guys in college, but after this weekend I wish I was. They are a really great group and I found myself laughing almost the entire time. One for the memory books. Good times, good times.

We went on a wine tour...

Hung out at the old fraternity house...

Had fun times at the Side Show...

Danced the night away at the wedding...

And got silly in the photo booth... I can't get enough of these!

Congrats, Nick and Cait! Thanks for sharing your day with us... Have fun in Spain!!
