It's almost time to pop that bottle of bubbly!

As I look back on 2010, I feel so blessed. So many exciting things happened! I was in two of my very best friends’ weddings, I completed my master’s degree and now am a licensed reading specialist, I got an awesome job and a new car to boot! This was one of my best years yet and I can only look forward to what 2011 has in store.

As for resolutions, I've never been very good at keeping them. But that doesn't stop me from trying. This year, I've decided to go with the positive. I'm adding to my life instead of taking away.

In 2011, I will be more of a chef. A champion cook and baker, if you will. I have been lucky to receive many fine cooking and baking supplies this past year (such as my le creuset!) and so next year, I vow to use them more! Already, I've got loads of ideas and inspiration thanks to many of my daily reads via the blogging world. And now that my masters is complete, I have more time to whip up some goodies, both savory and sweet. Happy two-thousand and eleven... it's to the kitchen I go!

I love watercolor and this illustration by Caitlin McGauley is top notch. I absolutely adore her work. She uses exactly the colors I love and her illustrations are simple and sophisticated, but are still very carefree.

The watercolor featured above was one she did for Tory Burch this season. Click here to see a slideshow of Caitlin's favorite parts of the holidays. Very fun.

LOVE this girl. She really is fabulous. She does illustrations for Kate Spade, J.crew crewcuts, Lonny Magazine, and Hermes Paris. She has a blog too! Doesn't update much, but it's still fun to see an array of her work. Just beautiful.

Talk about luxurious. This stuff will make you melt it's so moisturizing. And I mean that in a good way. I found this tub 'o butter at my aunt's house and I'm contemplating taking it home with me. Nah, just kidding. But really, I might have to purchase my own. Stat.

It smells delicious too.

I like to visit kate spade online when I want that extra skip in my step. Not ever to buy, because my bank account won't allow it, but just to look. I like to get color ideas, and get that extra feeling of lovely pizazz.

I adore this purse:

The purple is just so fun, yet simple too. It doesn't scream obnoxious. Instead, it whispers, You love me... into my ears. To which my wallet retorts, Yes. Yes she does but she can't have you. Darn you, wallet. Why do you always have to be like that?

A fun, snake embossed, foiled look. Great for out to dinner or even to a wedding! I'm partial to the gold, but it comes in pretty silver and a fabulous black as well.

Then one flake turns into two, then two to three, on and on until the whole city is filled with glorious white snow. “Dancing playing, there and there, floating, floating, through the air.”

A lovely book that will spark the child in you, bringing you back to that magical first snow fall. And after the last few days we’ve had here on the east coast, it only seems fitting. Hope you are finding ways to enjoy the snow. I am finding plenty of ways to enjoy my new cozy socks, warm cocoa, and my mom’s famous sugar cookies. Since we’ve no place to go… let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Happy Happy Happiest of Christmases to you and yours!!!

I am home for the holidays and it feels so nice to be here in my cozy house. Being here just brings me back to my childhood. Cheerful days of hot chocolate and the Nutcracker Suite, decorating the tree with ornaments from years past. Meg and I drove in from Maynard Thursday night (she spent the day in my classsroom!) and I have been soaking up this time at home. What a wonderful feeling it is to be on vacation.

I send a wish to you on this glorious day... that your Christmas be filled with happiness, warm thoughts, and that you will be surrounded with the love of your family and friends.

Oh hey, what's up Mr. Schuester!

Wait, back up. That's not Mr. Schuester. That's Nate Berkus: Interior Designer Extraodinaire.

I just discovered his show today on NBC, on right after Ellen. At first I was thinking, What the heck happened to Bonnie Hunt?, and then I remembered that I didn't even really like the Bonnie Hunt Show. It was merely a necessary pathway to The View. Well, Nate Berkus has created the show for me. As a regular guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Nate is no stranger to gorgeous interior design. And now he is bringing his expertise right into our living rooms! His show is all about design and DIY projects. So far, I am loving it.

Nate Berkus is most definitely a little cheesy. But he loves antiques and flea markets, so naturally, I like him. And he's got some heart. Already I shed some tears over a give-away he did today.

I like that in a TV show host.

Outlet dreams....

Love jcrew? Oh yes.

Hate the prices? Oh ohhh yes.

I absolutely delight in the outlet. I think the pieces are often more realistic than the actual store (which sometimes has way too many ruffles and sparkles for my simple life). The online outlet (now taking place at jcrew.com on the weekends) is a nice way to go, but if you can get to the outlet store you will drop to your knees at the sale prices and discounts they constantly have going. I am always able to pick up some classic and adorable pieces for much much much less than the pretty penny I pay at the regular retail store. It doesn't seem right sometimes! But, obviously, who's complaining? Not I. Not ever.

Here are some steals I picked up last time I went...

The items are fabulous and the prices unbeatable (up to 60% off)!

I have been eyeing this sparkle sweater online for a few weeks. It's so fun for the holidays! Hopefully I can skitter on to the outlet at some point this month to see what kind of price tag it has.

My favorite outlets (all with j.crew):

Freeport, ME

Freeport is the best in my opinion. Stores line the quaint Maine streets and you hardly feel like your in an outlet center at all! Stop on over for a Ben and Jerry's ice cream, and go see all that the famous L.L.Bean has to offer.

Wrentham Outlets

The Wrentham outlet is pretty great too. They have Cole Hann, Vera Bradley, and even a LOFT outlet too! Plus they have a Friendly's if you crave a burger and fries after your strenuous shopping excursion.

Woodbury Commons

This outlet is fancy pants. By far the most upscale I've ever been to, the Woodbury Commons has shops like Chanel, Diane Von Furstenberg, Prada, Saks, Tory Burch, and Versace. This outlet is right in Southern NY, which is close to my Grandmothers house in CT. A fun one to go to every once in awhile!

Cutest little shop I stumbled upon today in Brookline Village! Locally owned and the only of its kind, this is a perfect place to pick up some Christmas gifts. They have gorgeous throws and pillows, fun socks for winter, and a cute selection of clothes (though many of them come with a price tag). They have tons of delicious smelling soaps, just perfect for gift giving. And a sweet selection of ornaments for the tree. I just knew I had found a gem the moment I stepped inside. Adorbs!

Now that it's December (how fast this year has gone!) it's time to bust out that glorious advent calendar and start munching on the chocolate.

Usually I just pick up the $2 choco calendar at Trader Joe's.

1) Because it's cheap.

2) Because who doesn't want to pop some cocoa in their mouth each morning?

But, I do think this advent calendar from Pottery Barn is particularly adorable. You could totally get creative with this one and toss in some fun mini-gifts in each pocket. And some chocolate too, of course.

HAPPY TURKEY DAY!!

We're celebrating right here at my apartment this year, which is really nice and relaxing and I'm thankful for that! I watched the parade this morning in my PJ's and with a hot cup of coffee. Then I set to work making the celery root and apple puree. I taste tested it about an hour ago and it is DELICIOUS! I've been taking spoonfuls here and there when no one is looking. Hopefully there will still be some left for the feast.

I am thankful for oh so many things this year. For my family and friends, my wonderful new job, being able to keep in touch and have great times with the people closest to me, and finally finishing up my masters in just a few short weeks!

Ahhh, glorious Sunday. Here's a look at my Sunday morning- my large mug of foglifter coffee and the Sunday New York Times. Sunday mornings are a favorite of mine. It's the last chance to soak up the weekend before Sunday night rolls around and you are feeling a pit in your stomach that the work week will soon begin. I especially love sunny Sunday mornings like today. The sunny part always makes my mood just that much brighter.

I'm am also especially loving this sunny Sunday because this work week will only be 2 and a half days long. Thanksgiving is almost here!

Power Yoga!

I have discovered an amazing workout this past week.

HOT yoga.

I decided to give this a try last Saturday, because my roommate Lauren had recently started doing yoga at a studio in Back Bay and had great things to say about the "practice". I chose Baptiste Power Yoga in Brookline Village because it was close to my apartment, and also, because I did a little research and this place had good reviews and decent prices too. I have been 5 times this week and I am officially hooked. For the first week, I was able to go to all classes for free, which is sneaky of them because now I want to go all the time!

Baptiste Yoga is held in a 92-95 degree room so literally you sweat like you just went swimming. NO joke! It seems like it might be kind of gross, and maybe to some people it is, but after awhile I just forget about it and enjoy myself. This yoga is so calming, the room is dim and you are truly forced to focus on your breathing. I find it to be difficult, but in the best way possible. Strengthening and empowering, I love that I have discovered this place.

* I have not been to a class quite this crowded yet, but it's possible to be this close to others if there are enough people!

A gift from FRESH would put a smile on any girl's face. Their perfume is DEVINE and I have used the hair products a handful of times too. All scents are perfect for everyday use, very light and oh so pleasant. And the prices aren't too bad either!

Fresh soy shampoo and pomegranate conditioner. A whiff of heaven every time you're in the shower.

I think these wrapped soaps are just perfect stocking stuffers. They smell so delicious and even just put on display in a bathroom they add a special touch!

I adore their perfume. I have Sugar Lemon, but it wasn't an easy choice- they all smell amazing!

WOW. This book was GOOD. I could not put it down, and even when I did put it down it was always in the back of my mind. Shocking and sad and haunting, yet hopeful at the same time. Told in the voice of Jack, a five year old boy who knows of nothing in the world except Room (an 11 x 11 foot space), this is an extremely powerful story that will leave you thinking about the subject for days. This past Monday night I was presented with the most excellent surprise.

Zan called from North Carolina, on his way home from a weekend away for his new job, with the news that his sister's boyfriend had won tickets to the Dave Matthews Band concert. What did I say into the phone, do you ask? "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!!!!!" Sam, who is not a Dave fan was going to sell them, however Nell had a recollection of my love for DMB (read: I was wildly obsessed in high school) and so she posed the idea of giving them to us. My heart fluttered. My eyes widened. My mouth broke out into the widest smile and I shrieked with glee. Zan and I had previously considered getting tickets for this concert, but were unable to justify the money. THIS offer was a DREAM. DREAM!!!!

What lucky ducks we are. Here's some pics from the concert-- it was phenomenal (as always). The setlist was crazy good (so many classics!!), we had floor seats, and we even got one of Carter Beauford's drum sticks thrown right at us!! INSANE!!!!!!!!!

This past sunday I headed over to Charlestown for my little monkey's 5th (!!) birthday party. I was Isabel and Alistair's nanny on that lovely October day 5 years ago and was there the morning Alistair came home from the hospital... a teeny, tiny bundle of joy. I can't believe how time has flown. Both Isabel and Alistair are the sweetest siblings I know. They are just the best of friends and the happiest little people alive. My love for them is too big for words.

Finding this this picture of this house just brought me back to some of the happiest times of my childhood. My most favorite thing to do between the ages of 5-10 was play with my Fisher Price Little People.

These Little People were better than any other toy out there. Better than Barbies, better than Popples (although I did LOVE my Popple), better than Easy Bake Oven.

And so, of course, I have spent approximately the past 45 minutes, searching the google images for all pictures of my beloved Little People and the parts to their little town. Below are the images I found that make me giddy with joy.

Books on CD!

I just returned from the library, where I borrowed my very first book on CD. Since I have a pretty decent commute to work every day, I've decided to give this "book on tape" thing a go. There was one thing holding me back in this decision: I love to read. I love to look at the words on the paper, proccess them in my brain, and make meaning through the writing. I'm nervous that a book on tape won't be the same experience. I mean, it's not my voice I will be hearing anymore, it's the narrators. And he/she won't read the book exactly like I would read it. So what if it's not the same? Well, I've decided to start off with something light. Although I do enjoy some of those fun "girly" books out there, they are not usually the ones I pick up and read. I'm more of a "this story is so intense/I'm crying my eyes out/these characters are so intriguing" sort of reader. My feeling is, there are SO many AMAZING stories out there about people and culture and experiences that there is NO WAY I will ever read them all so those are the genres I usually go for. But every once in a while I do love a light read and for my first book on CD I made the decision that this was the type of book that I wanted to start out with.

And so, after perusing through the CD books at the library, I came across Emily Griffin's Something Borrowed. I've always seen this book out there, but never gave much thought to reading it. After checking it out I popped it into the CD player and began to listen to Chapter 1 while running errands this afternoon. So far, I'm really excited about it, and think it will be great for my rides in the car. Weirdly, I already can't wait for tomorrow (MONDAY) morning, for my ride to work and my time with Rachel, who's gotten herself into a real pickle with Dex, her best friend's fiance. I think I made the right choice with this one! Who knew Mondays (and car rides to work) could be so exciting?

It's time for me to get serious and start thinking of calendars for next year. Now is the time to make this decision because once January hits, all the good calendars are mostly gone. This has happened to me a handful of times in my life and it always puts me in a sour mood when I think about it. I mean, picking a calendar is a big decision because you will have to look at it for the whole year. Granted the month's change, but the overall feel of my calendar has to be one that I am pleased with.

I've decided my calendar hunt will take place at Paper Source this year. They never let me down.

Here are the ones I like:

Like I mentioned before, NYC last weekend was a preeeeety fun time. I spent the weekend with one of my bestest pals KPRIME and we had a great Saturday enjoying fall in the city. We met Beck and Beth for Brunch in Brooklyn at a delicious Israeli restaurant in Park Slope. The food was excellent and we spent the better part of 2 hours listening to one of the CRAZIEST stories I have ever heard courtesy of Rebecca. You know when something happens to someone and it's just UNreal? Well her story was one of those. Plus she is just very talented at telling stories. She's got that wit to her if you know what I mean. LOVE that about her.

But look here, as usual, I've gotten off topic.

Like I was saying, we had a terrific brunch with Beth and Beck and then headed on down (or up? over?) to Union Square where I discovered my new love Fishs Eddy (see below) and then spent the late afternoon perusing the meat and cheese section at Eataly. While we were there we were sure to enjoy a delicious glass of red wine, which you can drink in the middle of the market at one of the tall tables, or even while your shopping if that's what you prefer. Eataly is a very neat experience-- I almost felt as if I was abroad! I just love visiting NY for this very reason. There is so so SO much to see and do, so much to experience and enjoy.

After an early evening of yummy bread and Italian meats and cheeses we headed downtown for a night of more wine and fun. Katie's friend Laura came with and we had a nice time at Anfora and then of course, Automatic Slims (oh yeah).

Two words:

dream world.

I was introduced to the name Fishs Eddy after visiting Bailey and Kevin many times in Brooklyn. They had the cutest pieces in their kitchen. Very simple and practical, but they always caught my eye. During this trip to NY I made the request to KPrime that we venture there. "I just feel like I will like it," I said. To which she responded, "You will LOVE it."!

And love is the teensiest word for how I feel about this shop. I think you know me well enough by now to understand how I really feel. Basically this store is Anthropologies kitchen section on crack. This place is a gold mine. The story is that Fishs Eddy started off selling old dining items from old diners, restaurants, and hotels. Now much of what they sell is new, but still very much with that vintage feel. And it's all reasonably priced too. Jackpot.

They were indeed having a sale when I arrived. It made my heart flutter. They must have knew I was coming.

What a terrific little weekend trip I had to New York City. I absolutely LOVE visiting NY and discovering new restaurants, meeting up with friends, and visiting the many many shops! This weekend I got to do all of that and more and in really just a matter of 24 hours. I packed it all in and am sitting on the megabus home feeling very satisfied.

There's only one thing I would have changed: Bailey was not there. Boo. I missed you, Bails! Tons!

Boy oh boy did I hear the BEST news ever while driving home from work today. I was just informed (courtesy of NPR, my new go-to radio station) that the owner of FLOUR (THE BEST BAKERY in the ENTIRE WORLD), Joanne Chang, has just written and published a new cookbook.

Best news of your life, right?? Right??!

Flour, located in the South End (and also Fort Point and Central Square) will please your taste buds like no other. They have incredibly delicious desserts/breakfast treats and make a mean BLT (my favorite!). If you live in Boston and you have not been, GO! Then you can buy the recipe book and make their famous banana bread every day if you please. Which is probably what I am going to do.

Ah yes, my favorite time of year.

Fall sale at J.Crew. Here are some of my favorites...

I think this tissue turtle neck would looks great with light khaki corduroys. And a simple long gold necklace. A practical piece for fall.

I have this sweater in periwinkle and it is SO soft and SO comfortable. Looks like a sweatshirt but is actually a sweater!

Well aren't these earrings just fancy pants! So cute for a night out to dinner!

Meg has this sweater. SUPER cool. I love the side zip and the color. Very hip and stylish. Looks great with black ankle pants and flats!

I'm a sucker for colorful cords and these are so totally cute for fall! I think they'd look so cute with an ivory sweater or a navy blue shirt. ADORE!

And last, but certainly not least, I LOVE these flats. A girl can never have too many black flats. I love the toe on these too... a little different than your average ballet shoe, but still 100% classic.

Don't you think these bowls are just the cream of the crop? I think they're pretty snazzy. What a perfectly adorable addition they would be to my kitchen. Someday I hope to have an all white kitchen with glass cabinets so you can see all my colorful dishes and bowls.

These bowls, from anthropologie obviously, would just about brighten anyone's morning. Pour your milk and Corn Pops into a bowl like this and you'd be starting your day on top of the world. MMmm. Wouldn't that be nice.

I DID IT. I really truly did it.

I, AEB, made Boeuf Bourguignon a la Julia Child.

It was laborious and it was time consuming.

But also, it was DEVINE.

A true masterpiece.

YUM.

First, I had to go to three (yes, three) grocery stores to gather all my ingredients. I probably could have accumulated everything I needed in two, but only Trader Joes sells wine (a STAPLE ingredient) and I could not find pearl onions at either Stop and Shop OR Whole Foods. Tragic. I had to go with the cute little boiling onions and luckily, they worked just fine.

After gathering the goodies I set to work...

First, I placed one tablespoon of olive oil into my glorious new dutch oven.

Then, I cooked the bacon. MMMMM BACON.

Bacon is like home to me. That smell just takes me right back to Saturday morning in the Cuse. Chocolate chip pancakes anyone? Yes please.... OH WAIT. Sorry. Where was I? Oh yes, the Boeuf.

Anyways, before you actually cook the bacon you need to simmer it for 10 minutes in 1.5 quarts of water (that's 3 cups in case you ever decide to take on this expedition yourself). This was a little strange to me... seeing the bacon floating free in all that water, but I went with it. What Julia says, I do.

After the bacon was fini I set forth drying the meat. I patted that meat as dry as it would go with about a zillion paper towels.

And then after I had finished off at least one whole roll of paper towels, I browned the meat in the leftover bacon fat. YUM.

Next came the carrots and onions. Julia says to use only one carrot but I say PISH to that. I LOVE carrots! I didn't want to stray too much from the directions though, so I used two. A worthy compromise I thought. And then one onion. Chopped and thrown into the pot.

And then, everything goes back into le creuset at 450 degrees for 4 minutes.

Then take it out. Add a little salt (1 tsp) and pepper (1/4 tsp). Add a little flour (2 tbsp). Back to the oven for 4 more minutes.

Then comes the wine. Loads and loads of wine.

3 cups.

That was almost the whole bottle.

Almost. The remainder I happily had in a glass.

The dutch oven then went into the oven at 325 for just about 3 and 1/2 hours. A nice simmer to soak everything together. Simply delicious.

While the meat and veggies were immersed in a wine bath via the oven, I tackled the mushrooms. You know what Julia says about this one: "Don't crowd the mushrooms!". And so that's exactly what I didn't do. I let my mushrooms breathe. And they bubbled and browned just perfect.

Then I cooked up my boiled onions in butter and olive oil and let them get soft for about 10 minutes...

Until they were oh so tender and soft...

And now, for the very final picture...

Put it all together aaaaand... VOILA!

(Julia says to discard the carrots here, but I left them in for taste and texture.)

BON APPETIT!

I served mine over egg noodles and it was just perfection.

A long days work but well worth it.

YAY!!

And for dessert we had peanut butter and nutella pillows. My own twist on Joy the Baker's creation. But that post will be for another time...

I was just thinking this morning of how much fun it was to have Ali in the states just a few short weeks ago. Ali, one of my very best friends from college, moved to New Zealand after we graduated. That's completely on the other side of the world. From Boston, that's like a 19-hour plane ride or something. And it's not non-stop.

It was a blast having her here for Han's wedding.

Hopefully, (someday) I will get to go visit her in the land of the Kiwis.

DREAM DREAM DREAM!

Anyways, just thinking about how far she is makes me miss her today.

Last Sunday Mo, Katharine and I decided to get brunch together before Mo headed back to Rochester. We chose CafeTeria on Newbury Street and it was the perfect choice. A great bright and airy atmosphere and really delicious food. Simple, but with a touch of fancy.

I was too busy eating my chocolate chip buttermilk pancakes to take a picture of them, but trust me, this place is a winner.

What a fun time I had last weekend with some friends from HWS! Mo came into town from Rochester, and a bunch of '07 ladies from William Smith were in the Bean for Octoberfest!

Mo is one of my very best friends from growing up. We met when I was 12 (Mo was 10) at a pool party and we've been having good times together ever since. We spent our younger years dancing together, had some funny times and lots of laughs through high school, and when Mo came to visit me my sophmore year in college she decided with ME was where she wanted to be. We spent 2 awesome years together at school and 15 years from the start of our friendship we are still going strong. Bosom buddies for life, right Mosie?

Mo has a great group of friends from Hobart and I have been lucky to have gotten to know them so well over the past few years. I always have a fun time when I hang out with this group and this weekend was no exception. Saturday was spent at Harpoon Brewery's Octoberfest followed by a delicious dinner and out for drinks at Cafe 47. YUM. Thanks for including me in the fun girls... I had a blast!

This dressing is the YUMMIEST. I just picked it up today at Super Stop and Shop because as I was skittering down the salad dressing aisle my eyes were drawn to the product packaging. I am such a sucker for packaging. I'll admit it. Give me a nice looking bottle and I'm sold. The good thing about most well-packaged products is that they do actually taste better. In my opinion. Or at least, my brain has convinced my taste buds to think that way.

Brinanna's Home Style Dressing is for real DEEElicious.

I picked up some Rich Poppy Seed dressing and it's phenomenally sweet and flavorful. I can't wait to pack a salad for lunch tomorrow with butter lettuce, raspberries, grapes, sliced almonds, and especially this tasty topper. What a treat!

There are lots of other appealing flavors too... just check them out at your local grocer (Whole Foods excluded, which is surprising, but true).

I am happy to report that my camera cord arrived in the mail this afternoon. This now means that I can post pictures about many different events that have occurred over the weeks since my old camera cord decided to go MIA on me. Yes, yes, many different events but MOST IMPORTANTLY....

Hannah and Todd's WEDDING!!!!

What a celebration! What a ceremony!

This wedding was soooooo special. I truly believe it to be THE MOST touching wedding I have ever been to. I think in part it's because Hannah and Todd have have such a history (10 years!), but mostly it's just because Hannah and Todd are awesome people aaaand I simply just love their love.

Love it. Love it. Looove it.

Here are some of my favorite pics from the weekend in Maine...

The night of the rehearsal was super fun! We had drinks and dinner at a delicious restaurant in Yarmouth, ME. Also, this was the night of my birthday-- and they surprised me with a cake! :)

The morning of the Big Day we went over to the site of the reception, which was held at a really cool old warehouse!! The room that the dinner and dancing took place in was so gorgeous, with exposed brick walls and windows looking out onto the harbor. Hannah did much of the planning herself, so the bridesmaids spent the morning putting all the details together and making the place look spectacular!

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures from the ceremony, because I was IN it, but it was so unique. SO personable and emotional. I had the happiest feeling inside the whole time.

And Hannah and Todd's friend Maya played the piano, while another friend sang "You and Me" by the Dave Matthews Band (!).

They wrote their vows together and throughout the whole ceremony there were happy tears all around.

The ceremony was just SO "Hannah and Todd". That's the best way to describe it. :)

From the ceremony and pictures we headed to the party in style and the celebration began!... and a true celebration it was. Brickhouse girls were together again and the dancing and singing was out of control.

Cape Cod 2010!!

I was just looking through my pics and I realized I never blogged about Cape Cod!! My goodness, well, it's ABOUT TIME. Wouldn't ya say? It is the first day of fall after all. Bummer. I miss summer.

This year's trip (4th annual) started out pretty rough. Cold. Windy. Rainy. Yick.

Still though, we found ways to entertain ourselves like eating LOTS of delicious meals cooked by my mom and Grammy, doing a little window shopping on Main Street, and watching the Red Sox kick Toronto AND Seattle's be-hinds. :)

Also, I devoured The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

This book was 110% nuts.

It's fast-paced.

Exciting.

TERRIFYING.

And, it was amazing.

You should probably read it. Like, now.

Just read it. READ IT.

Aaaaanyways. Where was I? Oh yes, CAPE COD. Glorious, CC.

Cape, I love you.

After a few days of rain, the skies finally cleared and the sun shone bright... OH so bright! We got a chance to finish off the week doing what we love best, beachin' it!

My sincerest apologies for the lack of blogging the past couple of weeks. I have been BUSY!

Busy with first grade mostly, but also very busy last weekend taking part in my wonderful friend Hannah's AMAZING wedding (post to follow soon!).
