pod.

Cutest little shop I stumbled upon today in Brookline Village! Locally owned and the only of its kind, this is a perfect place to pick up some Christmas gifts. They have gorgeous throws and pillows, fun socks for winter, and a cute selection of clothes (though many of them come with a price tag). They have tons of delicious smelling soaps, just perfect for gift giving. And a sweet selection of ornaments for the tree. I just knew I had found a gem the moment I stepped inside. Adorbs!

"Pod is a tiny neighborhood boutique offering inspired simplicity through contemporary home accessories, found object, fresh cut flowers, women’s apparel, and personal care items. Our thoughtfully edited collection of goods speaks to those looking for the quiet of Eastern design, but also the warmth and textural quality customary of European traditions. Opened in 1998, the shop is located in quaint Brookline Village, MA, but could easily fit right into the most creative quarters of Paris, Brooklyn, or San Francisco."

Holiday Gift Guide 2010: Necklaces for Her...

So I know I've already posted about a necklace idea a few days ago, but recently I've been browsing Etsy for more fun jewlery for holiday gift giving. There are sooo many fun and adorable necklaces out there how will I ever tell about them all. Obviously you can do your own searching, but here are some more necklaces I think are just peachy:

Holiday Gift Guide 2010: For HIM

What should you get that special guy in your life?
Here are just a few ideas for the men that you love...

I think they have some great dress shirts at Lands End this year. Having a boyfriend that doesn't like to shop many places but the thrift store, I think one of these would be perfect for him this year- especially with his new job.
This pattern is my favorite, but there are many, many to choose from!

Here is an original idea: A book all about good beer- from the history to popular brewing techniques. "An ultimate reference for beer lovers of all levels" - Wine Enthusiast.

This is a nice gift at a great price! Body scrub, facial moisturizer and shaving cream.

Who wouldn't love a pair of slippers to keep their toes warm? These slippers are sweeeet from Lands' End. You can also find great slipper options at L.L.Bean and Eddie Bauer.

And for those of you who live in Boston- a Phantom Gourmet gift card. He can pick from a long list of restaurants and you can have a great night out to dinner! Win, win!

Holiday Gift Guide 2010: Precious Necklaces

Pieces of a Girl is a small jewelry company that I stumbled across today and I have fallen in love. Their pieces (mostly necklaces) are so simple and true they make my whole being smile.

Here are some examples and some of my favorites:

A little on the pricey side, but what a gift!

Holiday Gift Guide 2010: Keurig

I think this would be a totally awesomerific present.
I am still currently using my 12-cup brewer, which is fine, but this Keurig single-cup coffee brewer is just so 2011.

This model (B-40) is only $99 from amazon.com. Not too shabby!!

A sensational gift in my humble opinion.

Holiday Gift Guide 2010: GLEE Christmas

This album is SO GOOD!!!!
It will make you smile and will make your heart happy. It will also make you want to sing along! I think this would be a great stocking stuffer or secret santa gift.
The songs of the season you love sung by the Glee Club.
Good times, great singing.
Enjoy!

Holiday Gift Guide 2010: FRESH!

A gift from FRESH would put a smile on any girl's face. Their perfume is DEVINE and I have used the hair products a handful of times too. All scents are perfect for everyday use, very light and oh so pleasant. And the prices aren't too bad either!

Fresh soy shampoo and pomegranate conditioner. A whiff of heaven every time you're in the shower.

I think these wrapped soaps are just perfect stocking stuffers. They smell so delicious and even just put on display in a bathroom they add a special touch!

I adore their perfume. I have Sugar Lemon, but it wasn't an easy choice- they all smell amazing!

This would be a great gift for a mother, sister, or a friend.
Visit the Fresh website or just click here to find out where to buy Fresh products near you!

Le Pain Quotidien

MM. Mmm. Mmmmmm.
Mmmm.
MMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
This delicious bakery is unfortunately not in Boston.
BOO.

But it is in both New York and DC, so if you happen to be in the vicinity be sure to stop in. I will be in DC in less than 2 weeks for Nell's graduation from Georgetown. You better believe I will be making the journey down M street to hit up this spot. That's half the reason I'm going! (just kidding, Nell). It is spectacularly delicious though. I can't even wait.

In every single way...

I am still drying my eyes after last week's Glee episode.
It just touched my heart.

This beautiful artwork can be found on etsy by seller cathynichols.
She's got lots of great stuff!

Oh! Also, I bought a clutch from Melanie's mom's Etsy site!
Melanie is my book club friend. Even though we've technically only met once we're totally blog friends and I feel like I've known her for years.
(HI, Melanie!)
Anywho, here's the link:

Gracey Bags

How adorable are these clutches that Bailey gave us as bridesmaids gifts?? They are all so fitting for each of us!
They are from Etsy (a true love of mine), a designer known as Graceybags who makes individual bags and also bags just for brides-to-be. (She also has a blog: Gracey Bags. The picture above is from her blog and I was so excited to find it because I didn't get a chance to take a picture of Emilie and Lauren's bags. Jackpot.)

The handmade bags come in all different fabrics. They are so colorful and fun!
Here is my bag...
Eee! LOVE!!!
Thanks Bails!!! Cutest idea EVER!
