Fishs Eddy

Two words:

dream world.

I was introduced to the name Fishs Eddy after visiting Bailey and Kevin many times in Brooklyn. They had the cutest pieces in their kitchen. Very simple and practical, but they always caught my eye. During this trip to NY I made the request to KPrime that we venture there. "I just feel like I will like it," I said. To which she responded, "You will LOVE it."!

And love is the teensiest word for how I feel about this shop. I think you know me well enough by now to understand how I really feel. Basically this store is Anthropologies kitchen section on crack. This place is a gold mine. The story is that Fishs Eddy started off selling old dining items from old diners, restaurants, and hotels. Now much of what they sell is new, but still very much with that vintage feel. And it's all reasonably priced too. Jackpot.

They were indeed having a sale when I arrived. It made my heart flutter. They must have knew I was coming.

Lonny Mag

So in my search for a good magazine awhile back, my friend Eliza informed me of an online magazine called Lonny. Although I was looking for actual pages to flip (i.e. paper magazine), the online paper-less magazine Lonny wins for spectacular ideas, eye-pleasing layout, and all around fabulous design. It's so wonderful, every issue is so bright and EXACTLY my style. Or at least, what my style inspires to be. Plus, it's GREEN!

Looking through this mag is a DREAM if I ever had one. Simply divine.

I am 170% addicted to this publication.

If that's even possible.

And I think it might be.

The August/September Issue is 197 pages of pure bliss.

Lonny Magazine

Food and Friends| a diary of dining out.

My mom bought me the most delicate book this weekend at anthropologie. It's so fun it makes me want to call up my girlfriends for some dinner and drinks! The book helps you keep a log of the restaurants you've visited, who you went with, what you ate, and what you thought about the meal. A cute idea for keeping dining memories! And it's really so true-- some of the best memories I've had with my friends are over a delicious meal. Food and Friends, the perfect pair.

Alright, who wants to go out to dinner?!!

My little Boos.

Yesterday was my last day with these precious Boos of mine.

Wyatt Boo. And Asa Boo. My loves. My true loves.

I've spent the last 10 months with these cuties and I'll really miss seeing them everyday. They are perfectly precious and as sweet as can be.

Next week my reading specialist internship starts up, so all my week days will be devoted to teaching reading and building up my hours for my reading license. I'm excited to start the next phase of my life, but it's super hard to leave little ones that are as amazing as these two are. I love you boys! Stay sweet and I will see you soon...oh so very soon.

Gracey Bags

How adorable are these clutches that Bailey gave us as bridesmaids gifts?? They are all so fitting for each of us!

They are from Etsy (a true love of mine), a designer known as Graceybags who makes individual bags and also bags just for brides-to-be. (She also has a blog: Gracey Bags. The picture above is from her blog and I was so excited to find it because I didn't get a chance to take a picture of Emilie and Lauren's bags. Jackpot.)

The handmade bags come in all different fabrics. They are so colorful and fun!

I've been really into taking the old knobs off my dresser drawers and replacing them with these fun ones from anthropologie. They make the dressers look SO adorable, unique, and vintage.

OAK: Handmade Clothing & Gifts

I stumbled upon a really adorable store today on Newbury Street-- Oak: Handmade Clothing and Gifts. It's located between Fairfield and Gloucester Streets and has really fun Etsy-like stuff. Totally great for gift giving. Or self giving. I was in love the second I walked in. If I owned a store, I would want it to be like this one.
